Surveying is an
integral part of our services. O’Connell & Lawrence has provided
survey services in support of our engineering design services and other
survey services to hundreds of clients since the firm’s inception. Many
of our projects are quite comprehensive in scope, encompassing a broad
range of surveying skills. O’Connell & Lawrence has invested in
state-of-the-art field surveying equipment, including GPS (Global
Positioning System) units, for which our personnel have received formal
training. Our surveyors are also equipped with the latest conventional
survey equipment including total stations and reflectorless total stations
and data collectors to obtain field data for direct
"field-to-finish" processing with our office computers using
AutoCADD 2000, SurvCADD, or MicroStation. Moreover, our staff consists of
qualified, registered surveyors and technicians whose powerful combination
of experience and expertise allow us to offer a responsive, quality-based
approach to land surveys. Our trained personnel are experienced in
conducting GPS and conventional surveys and processing field data, as well
as developing maps, plans, and reports tailored to the client’s specific
needs.
